ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The graduation collection was inspired by fear of stains and dirt. The illusion of control, while in reality you are your own puppet. In this collection the models are seen as patients, the date of birth and the initials on the garments and the closures on the back, out of their own reach, stress that view. The caps act as blinkers and enforce tunnel vision.

The used materials and colours emphasise the need for hygiene. The latex dipped hands and the vacuum packed bags and shoes, reflect the reluctance of the ‘dirty’ environment. Many of the garments from the collection are knitted. The forms were shaped on the machine. This technique is called ‘knit and wear’. Furthermore, leather is used for clothing, accessories and shoes. The womens shoes have wooden soles and are covered with leather.
