The inspiration for my collection originated when I was going through old wedding pictures of my parents. The pictures were taken during the Iranian revolution in 1978 in Teheran. That’s when I got inspired and I wanted to created my own twisted wedding scenario. One where different fictional characters, mixed martial arts, confused romance and Japanese mythologiegot mixed up together. The collection is a fictional interpretation of a Persian wedding during the revolution, which during the process evolved to a manga-like collection.
