Michael Kampe was born in 1987 in Hamburg, Germany and studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp under Walter Van Beirendonck where he graduated from with magna cum laude in 2010.

The same year he was selected for the Fashion and Film Festival in Hyeres and won the ITS Diesel award that offered him a direct step into the professional world at the namesake brand in Italy. Always driven by the desire to create, in 2010 he also started working with students and fashion universities worldwide. A passion he continues til today with long term teaching projects in Germany, Denmark and Iceland. Afterwards he worked as the Creative Manager of the Amsterdam.
