De (non) conformist took off when i returned to my village of my childhood. During the weekend I sat at a kitchen table having a conversation about multiculturalism with opposing relatives. This discussion pointed out that diversity in our society is paramount in order to create appreciation for dissidents and eventually reuniting a divided society. This collection shows that cohesion is only achieved when both diversity and unity are preserved. Making the unrecognizable recognizable again and vice versa.
