When and why did you decide to study Fashion?

When I was nearly 18, I decided to study Fashion. At first, I wanted to study medicine, but when I was in my last year of high school, I doubted very much. After some research, I found out I wanted to do something creative, and visited art schools. All my life I’ve been making drawings. I was really impressed by the section Fashion Design, and tried to discover this new world. I saw (new) possibilities in fashion, possibilities I had never seen.

What is your opinion about Lichting?

The Lichting is a very good concept to give young, talented fashion designers a platform for a big, serious audience. It provides access to an (inter)national network and can be a first step into the world of fashion. Also it’s nice to meet students from other academies and see the different way of working.

What will be your next step after graduation?

My next step after my graduation will be to find a fitting label where I can get a chance to develop my skills and get practical working experience. Besides that I would like to start building a label of my own.
