Which moment was very important in your development so far?
After de Lichting I did some small projects and was one of the lucky one’s to be selected for the Hyères competition. This was a wonderful experience where I met a lot of great people and got the chance to work with a very professional team. It really was a once in a lifetime experience.

What is your ambition for the years to come?
In July I will start to work for a creative brand in Amsterdam. I’m very excited about that because it’s a small team of young people that work in a very creative way even though it’s a commercial brand. I think that’s a very important aspect for my own development as a designer. Next to that I would like to be creative for myself in my spare time and in the future I would love to start my own label, but that’s something I still have to see and figure out, step by step.

Do you have a piece of advice for the new Lichting participants how they can prepare best?
Just enjoy the moment. Either you win or not, everyone is a winner already!
